Join SETLAW, the Chattanooga Bar Association Young Lawyers Division, and Women's Fund of Chattanooga as we host a lunchtime panel of women judges in our area to discuss policy, women and the judiciary.

Panelists include: Magistrate Judge Susan K. Lee, Judge Jennifer Peck, and Judge Tori Smith.

Lunch to be provided beginning at 11:30am, the panel will be from noon-1pm.

You’re invited to a “Letters to our Leaders” party, led by a local Chattanooga area high school student, to write for funding for the “Menstrual Hygiene Product Accessibility Act”. This bill aims to put period products in ALL Tennessee public high school bathrooms.

Join us at the Society of Work (110 Somerville Ave) where we will have pizza and ice cream while we write short letters to our legislators. We will take care of the address and postage and can even provide sample language if needed. Come be a part of advocacy in action!

We’ll hear from Pam Reed, Executive Director of the Houston Museum, as she shares the fascinating history of the Museum. Founded in 1961 in Chattanooga’s Bluff View Art District, the museum honors Anna Safley Houston, a visionary businesswoman and antique collector. The Launch Pad is a 12-step based sober living home for women recovering from alcoholism and drug addiction. They provide residents with a safe haven for up to two years.

By sharing their own lived experience and the power of advocacy, our speakers will inspire us to continue to come together to create a space for all women and girls to thrive. We are also honoring Marj Flemming, who has uplifted many women in our community through her work as well as CWLI and the Women’s Fund.
